This is a hands-on senior position where you will influence architectural decisions, mentor team members, and ensure best practices are followed across the stack.**Key Responsibilities**:- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Ruby on Rails.- Collaborate with product owners and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices.- Ensure performance, scalability, and security of both frontend and backend systems.- Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and workflows.- Work in cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth integration between frontend, backend, and external systems.**Qualifications**- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience as a Fullstack Engineer or in a similar role.- Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails for backend development.- Advanced knowledge of Angular and TypeScript for frontend development.- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, system integrations, and microservice-oriented design.- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).- Knowledge of testing frameworks and practices (RSpec, Jasmine, Jest, or similar).- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical excellence and delivery speed.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.- Experience working with Agile development processes (Scrum or Kanban).**Additional Information** Location**: Can work from anywhere within Mexico (working from the office will be required time to time)**Offices**:Av. de las Américas th, Country Club, 44610 Guadalajara, Jal.
