**Req ID**: We are currently seeking a Database Administration Director to join our team in Remote, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX).Main Duties & Responsibilities:- Responsible for supervision and oversight of a team and/or of workflow and functions- Database technical knowledge in either Oracle or SQL Server.- Must have experience in Database support- Experience in ITIL process and RCA process.- Experienced in Database tools & Utilizes- Perform regular business activities in addition to responsibilities for people management, Appraisals, workflow, training, and performance of controls- Experienced in Ticket Quality and Audit. Dashboard & reporting- Play a key role in facilitating communication between functional teams, sharing knowledge and good practice- Lead and foster the team dynamics, often providing resource strategy input and focus on process and performance efficiency- Responsible for analysis, change and continuous improvement as well as the first or second level escalation point for the team- Proactively escalate and takes steps to substantially mitigate risk issues within and outside of direct main business area- Responsible for building, fostering, and managing relationships with relevant stakeholders (internal and/or external) and around the more time critical, complex or regulated tasksKey Skills:- Experience working with international teams- Demonstrates the NTT Data Services Values of Clients First, Foresight and Teamwork in everything they do.- An in-depth knowledge of Database (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)- Knowledge of different Database tools & Utilities (OEM, Foglight, Spotlight, etc.)- Database Server management including migration and consolidation- High availability solution implementations- Anticipate operational, program, and implementation issues and develops preventative measures.- Adapt to projects, programs or methods based on customer or business partner feedback- Develop innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis that improve business performance and contribute to corporate goals and strategic intent.- Knowledge of handling new edge technologies- Displays good verbal and written language skills in English**Education**:- Preferably: Database Certified, ITIL Certified & Project ManagementWork Experience:- Minimum 10 years of Database background- Minimum 4 years in people Management- Minimum 4 years in Database Operations & Delivery- Experience in AWS, Azure or cloud technology**About NTT DATA Services****NTT DATA Services is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants without regarding to race, color, religion, citizenship, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, physical or mental disability, veteran or marital status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
