SAP Finance Functional Consulting Trainee

What we doThe Finance Business Unit provides consulting and implementation services that focus on digital transformation and innovative processes to improve the finance and accounting function for international insurance and banking companies. We are SAP’s preferred solution integrator and offer functional and technical expertise, project methodologies, accelerators and templates, system training, and ongoing maintenance support.Our Finance team covers all areas of implementation, data integration, and reporting. As one of the largest Finance teams in the world, we employ consultants, data scientists, software engineers, and industry experts.What you will do- Understand the different phases of SAP Finance, FPSL FS-CD and S/4HANA implementation (design, documentation, testing, training).- Comprehend and document complex business processes.- Contribute to enterprise-wide SAP transformation programs.- Develop knowledge of SAP’s newest and future solutions.- Understand msg’s consulting processes and SAP methodologies- Communicate and interact effectively with clients- Participate in assignments and project work as individual contributor and team member- Work effectively with msg teams worldwide- Receive training and mentoring, both on-the-job and in the classroom- Learn how to support the delivery of complex client projects under the guidance of senior consultants.What we are looking forRequirements- Graduated (Bachelor or Master) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Business Informatics or equivalent- Reside in Mexico City or the State of Mexico- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication along with strong client relationship skills- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.- Fluent in English (oral and written).- Availability to take 3 months on-site training.- Availability to travel 80%- Motivation and ability to independently research and develop knowledge and skills- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Commitment to exceptional customer service; ethics and integrity in all actions is expected- Dedication to exceptional work quality- Interest in how technology supports finance (ERP / SAP)- Strong curiosity to connect finance and technology- Analytical mindset and ability to work with structured data- High attention to detail and accuracy- Ability to work well in a team and in a collaborative environment- Open to feedback and continuous learning- Basic exposure to accounting or finance concepts (e.g., general ledger, P&L, balance sheet) through university studies- Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico without employer sponsorship.Nice to have- Basic awareness of international financial reporting standards (IFRS)- Basic exposure to SAP or other ERP systems- Any initial exposure to finance or consulting environments (internships, projects, or coursework)What we offer- A place where individuals are equally valued and where diversity and cultural differences are cherished.- A global team of highly respected SAP and industry experts where you can make a difference.- This role begins with a 3-month training period, with the opportunity to move into a fixed, full-time position upon successful completion.- Opportunities to boost your career development in both functional and technical directions through comprehensive advanced education and deep product knowledge.- An attractive and competitive salary package and additional employee benefits (Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Food Vouchers and transportation bonus).
