Casa Ensalada is flipping the script on healthy eating—serving up **bold flavors, zero-waste packaging, and a brand voice sharper than a chef’s knife.** We’re a community-driven, eco-conscious lifestyle brand based in **Condesa, Mexico City,** and we’re on a mission to make fresh food fun (without the preachy wellness guru vibes).Now, we need **a Video Editing powerhouse** to help us tell our story **one scroll-stopping reel and one cinematic sequence at a time.** If you’re obsessed with crafting high-energy content, know how to make a salad look like a work of art (or a rebellious statement), and can shift seamlessly from short-form social content to **mini-documentary-style** storytelling, we should talk.**What You’ll Be Doing (aka Your Starring Role)**- **Editing IG Reels & TikToks that hit different** - Trend-savvy, engaging, and with Casa Ensalada’s sharp, witty, and vibrant brand tone.- **Bringing our food to life** - Close-ups of glistening salad greens, slow-motion dressing pours, and ASMR-worthy ingredient prep—because visuals sell the vibe.- **Longer-form storytelling** - Editing **behind-the-scenes content, brand documentaries, event recaps, and more** with seamless pacing, tight storytelling, and aesthetic mastery.- **Keeping up with trends** - You know what’s hot in video editing and social media and can adapt Casa Ensalada’s content to match current visual trends and platform algorithms.- **Working on brand launches, partnerships & campaigns** - From a slick promo video to an engaging brand partnership announcement, you’ll bring our vision to life.- **Editing with speed & precision** - You can deliver fast-turnaround edits without sacrificing quality.- **Collaborating with our creative & marketing team** - From initial concept to post-production, you’ll work with strategists, designers, and content creators to make magic.- **Being in the mix** - We want someone excited to work in-office **(3 days a week in Condesa)** to brainstorm, shoot, and vibe with the team.**Who You Are (Besides a Genius With a Timeline & a Cutting Tool)**- **You’re an editing wizard.** Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects—whatever your weapon of choice, you wield it with precision. Capcut experience preferred.- **You get social media.** This means understanding pacing, trends, engagement tactics, and what makes someone stop mid-scroll.- **You have range.** You can switch between punchy, 15-second viral edits to beautifully shot, long-form brand storytelling.- **You know food content.** Or at least, you understand how to make something _look_ delicious, crave-worthy, and cinematic.- **You’re fast, but meticulous.** Quick turnaround is key, but you never sacrifice quality.- **You know color grading, sound design & motion graphics.** Maybe not at Christopher Nolan levels, but enough to make a video feel polished and high-end.- **You’re collaborative.** You’re open to feedback, bring ideas to the table, and know that the best creative work happens when we riff off each other.- **You thrive in a fast-moving, creative space.** We’re growing fast, testing new things, and making magic happen.
