Director Technical Services

Our team in Mexico is growing; we are currently recruiting a** Director Technical Services** to join our project delivery business line in the **Mexico Hermosillo office.****About the role**- Experience in sustaining capital projects, maintenance and operations on key areas such as process design, general layouts, bulk quantities, capital/operating costs, and financial model.- Responsible for analyzing modifications in the processing plant.- Monitor the industries’ business environment with the help of the Business Development group for Mexico and track relevant trends for consideration in the group business plan.- Lead the effort in developing new client relationships relevant to the group. Work with Business Development to identify, evaluate, and respond to opportunities, ensuring alignment with company direction.- In conjunction with the Study Manager, develop project scope based on understanding of key clients’ businesses and operational needs.- Contribute to the successful planning and execution of Ausenco sustaining capital projects across the region relative to the client’s business needs by providing broad or specific guidance in the group’s area of expertise, as needed. Previous experience working with studies will be preferable.- Define and communicate task and performance expectations for direct reports, monitor performance against the requirements and take action where appropriate.**About you**- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, Mining or Mechanical Engineering.- Experience working with silver and underground mining is desirable- Minimum of 6 years in maintenance processing facilities and operations of UG and OP mining.- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet clients as required.- Proven ability to collaborate and contribute effectively as part of cross-functional project teams.- Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills**Why Ausenco?**We support individual growth and aim to allow you to work in a way that plays to your strengths.
