Security & Systems Administrator

This role is responsible for installing, administering, and troubleshooting Chamberlain’s Infrastructure security solutions. Coordinates with Lead Security Administrator to update security policies and training documents about security procedures for Infrastructure Group. Security administrators are responsible for the system overall rather than for specific parts. This role installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains server configurations (hardware and software) to ensure their confidentiality, integrity, and availability.- Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions and coordinate with the Cyber Security team to secure Chamberlain systems and take appropriate actions- Participate in remediation of monthly vulnerability scans and implement corrections and or workarounds, report results to Cyber Security team- Backup and support Enterprise Server Administrator’s team and participate in rolling after hours support rotation- Participate in the review and recommendation of systems infrastructure security enhancements- Participate in the design and implementation of special projects including storage upgrade, disaster recovery refresh, active directory audit, server consolidation, and more- Perform or participate in root cause analysis of escalated service requests or outages- Leverage knowledge and experience to deliver end-to-end solutions on Microsoft platforms which includes architecting technical implementation, organizing and prioritizing development efforts, interfacing with vendors and management, and coordinating effort with both internal and client technical teams- Participate in security audits and penetration tests and take appropriate remdiates steps for any security gaps or vulnerabilities discovered- Serve as a liasion for the infrastructure group and other IT team members for vulnerability remediation and recommendations- Collaborate on information security policies, standards, and baselines and contribute efforts to measure compliance- Collaborate on and provide vulnerability management results and metrics for consistent reporting for governance purposes; collaborate and coordinate remediation plans and activities- Under direction of the Lead Security Systems Administrator, analyze assessment results and threat feeds to properly react to security weaknesses or vulnerabilities- Software management including repackaging, scripted installations, and deployment with PowerShell or similar automation tool- Provides Tier I and II support to Remedy incident/event/service request tickets- Create custom asset inventory reports and dashboards for use in planning corporate hardware and software requirements- Provides Tier I and II SCCM administrator support and administration- Configure, maintain, and monitor general purpose and critical computing assets for the enterprise Network through Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)- Protect CGI’s reputation by keeping information confidential- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Minimum Qualifications**Education/Certifications**:Bachelor degree or equivalent experience- Experience in Security, Storage Solution, or similar technologies- Proficient in VMware and Cisco Security tools- Experience and administration with MS Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:- Windows (Active Directory and Group Policy creation) VMware and Cloud Technologies- PowerShell scripting and automation- Security and regulations compliance- Demonstrate leadership ability to drive strategy, prioritize and mobilize resources across the Company- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and providing effective support to all functions and individuals within the corporate structure- Ability to understand the customer's business environment, effectively analyze problems and provide timely customer appropriate solutions- Full knowledge of emergency response planning & execution, crisis management, disaster recovery operations and business continuity- Flexible, adaptable, and able to autonomously manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.**Other**:- Able to travel up to 10% - domestically and internationally; availability after hours support required
