We’re building a world-class Payments & Billing team to power our global subscription business, which serves **over 2 million paying subscribers** across multiple regions. As Senior Engineering Manager, Payments & Billing, you’ll lead the strategy, architecture, and execution for systems that process millions of monthly transactions across diverse geographies, multiple local entities, local currencies, and multiple payment service providers.This is more than just payments, it’s the full monetization platform that underpins our global subscription model of our products. You’ll own the **end-to-end lifecycle of billing and payments infrastructure**, ensuring it is extensible, compliant, and optimized for performance, cost-efficiency, and business agility. This is a pivotal leadership role with high ownership, shaping the backbone of a hundred-million-dollar global subscription business and enabling the next stage of Scribd’s growth.In this role, you’ll be at the helm of the team responsible for everything from subscription orchestration and transaction processing to compliance, revenue tooling, and platform observability. **If you’re an experienced engineering leader who thrives in both technical and domain complexity**, you’ll find this role uniquely rewarding.
