Company Overview We're working with a growing US legal tech startup. Their AI-driven tools help thousands of users simplify complex legal workflows and reduce stress. Your Role As a Backend Engineer, you'll build new features and MVPs, working closely with a team focused on practical solutions and fast-paced delivery. Key Responsibilities Develop backend services and APIs, primarily using Python Quickly prototype, develop, and release MVPs and new product features. Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers. Help optimize data storage and real-time data processing systems. Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality improvements. Work closely with senior team members to solve challenging problems. You Bring 3–5 years of backend development experience. Experience developing APIs (RESTful, GraphQL, or gRPC). Comfortable with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and some experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis). Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). A proactive, flexible, startup mindset—comfortable with rapid changes. Good problem-solving skills and clear communication in English. Bonus Points Experience working in software services companies or software factories, delivering MVPs or multiple projects rapidly. Familiarity with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines. Interest or experience in legal tech or similar fields.
