We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realize their ambitions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Customer Selection and Exit Management**Main responsabilities**:- Recognize and mitigate Reputational Risks and ensure efficient client selection and exit management.- Review customer profiles to identify possible patterns of money laundering and terrorist financing activity, ensuring compliance with applicable internal policies and procedures and external regulations;- Review and analyze network banks for suspicious/unusual patterns of activity utilizing various internal systems, reports and external data sources;- Conclude whether further investigation is warranted based on a reasonable assessment of information obtained;- Review, collect and transmit supporting details to the Assistant Manager of Operations upon conclusion of review;- Prioritize work to ensure re-works and Post Approval work is complete on time;- Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Company and regulatory standards, policies and practices; report control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational loss events;- Follow appropriate escalation matrix and proactively highlight questionable profiles based on logical reasoning against text-book approach towards procedures;- Keep current with understanding of systems, policies, procedures and regulationsProvide a supporting role to on-shore business partners. Assist in reviewing alerts and provide support on all AML and KYC monitoring functions performed by Global CDDRequirements**Requirements**:- Bachelor’s Degree in Audit, Business Administration or similar.- Background in Banking / Financial Services Risk Area, Audit or Compliance.- Advanced level of written and verbal English.- At least 2 years-experienced in Financial Crime Risk activities.- Previous experience in working for AML/KYC teams is requiredYou’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.At HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.
