**General Accounting Supervisor**Universal Logistics Holdings, a leader in trucking, transportation, and logistics is currently seeking to hire an experienced **Accounting Supervisor **at our location in Monterrey, Mexico. This person must have accounting knowledge in Mexican GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS, be bi-lingual (Spanish and English), and be eager to grow into a local Controller position. If you are ready for the next step in your career and are a dedicated individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you- **Salary: $55,000 -$70,000 (MX) per month based on experience**_- Bilingual (English/Spanish)- CPA- Minimum of 3 years public/private accounting experience- Have General ledger, consolidation, and Cost Accounting experience- Demonstrated experience in period-end closing procedures, including preparation of financial statements- Tax, accounting, audit experience in both Mexico and United States is a plus- Prior experience in a fast paced, rapid change environment where priorities change regularly- Excellent communication, writing, managerial, organizational and people skills- Participative, hands on, “roll up the sleeves” management style with a keen attention to thoroughness and details**Responsibilities will include**:- Managing a team of local analysts, including Indexing and Invoicing- Previous experience in Customer Service and Team Management- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment- Take initiative to solve problems and follow through to resolution- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, and prioritize workload to meet department deadlines & customer requirements under pressure- High level of integrity, excellent verbal, writing & organizational skills- Follow procedures, improve processes & streamline and reduce touchpoints- Managing a team of three local analysts- Management of accounting and financial systems- Management of internal controls over cash and inventory- Responsible for general ledger accounting, consolidation, detailed account analysis, and preparation of monthly financial statements- Bank Reconciliations- Invoicing control- Accounts Receivable control- Accounts Payable control- Payroll (including IMSS, Infonavit, local and state taxes, and reimbursements)- Prepare monthly and quarterly account reconciliations- Tax Compliance (local, State, Federal, Including IVA, SAT, ISR, DIOT, DIM, Electronic Accounting System and IMMEX)- Treasury activities (Including Processing payments, taxes and payroll)- Support Internal and External Control and Surveillance Organizations- Working papers for depreciations, amortizations, foreign currency valuations- Monthly calculation and filing of CIT prepayments, VAT and Withholdings returns- Actual CIT return- Electronic Accounting mandatory reports- Financial forecasting and performance reportingPay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- 64909, Monterrey, N.
