**Qualifications***5 + years of professional Indirect category experience, ideally with supplier/customer management experience & business and financial acumen- Demonstrated project management skills especially in an operations environment- Effectively communicate with diverse groups of individuals including Plant/Site Services, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain- Excellent written, verbal, analytical, negotiating, and interpersonal skills- Proficient with Microsoft programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint- Demonstrated success with cost reductions- Ability to travel 10% to 15% of the time- Legal Authorization to work in Mexico- Fluent in both Spanish and English**Responsibilities**- Perform as the liaison between Indirect Suppliers and Plant Indirect material Buyers- The primary Gates de Mexico representative of Indirect/Services for Gates Corporate E-Sourcing events- Responsible for managing the Supply Base (for Indirect materials, Site services, MRO items) to meet the strategic needs of the Customer, Engineering and Manufacturing teams in terms of Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Commercial terms- Understand and monitor current commodity market conditions/trends, developing technologies, supply chain capacity/ capability, product knowledge, customer requirements and supply/demand challenges- Establish a strong network and foster collaboration with suppliers, key stakeholders, and category team members- Communicate effectively with suppliers, engineering, quality, manufacturing personnel and peers in a dynamic team environment- Rationalize/optimize the commodities' supply base balancing between cost and risk- Develop appropriate supplier strategies to leverage global volume on families of "like" items to consolidate spend- Manage the overall relationship with suppliers & develop road map with strategic suppliers- Takes leadership role in problem solving, cost reductions, and process improvement initiatives- Execute Service/Supply agreements with Indirect suppliers- Work with and support General Indirect Buyers in Gates de Mexico plants- Responsible for Cost Containment/Savings Projects/Programs- Contract management including contract negotiations and related contract language- Manage Indirect Supply base including negotiating DPO terms- You adjust your communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders- You take constructive action to navigate difficulties or obstacles- You articulate the values and benefits of stretch assignments to othersLI-KI
