Like this one._****About the Role**This position is responsible of purchase goods, research, evaluate areas of opportunity, and reduce costs.**Your Team**This position has not supervisory responsibility.**What You Will Do**- Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets- Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems, which may pose a risk or impact on business operations to manager- Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible- Deliver briefs, updates and reports as and when required- Develop creative and innovative procurement processes- Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement- Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships- Explore alternate sources for goods and materials- Assess tenders and quotations from potential suppliers- Prepare purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and in line with organizational targets and requirements- Undertake research on and evaluate existing and new suppliers- Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues- Has the authority to stop a process or activity, or give coaching if it detects unsafe or acts conditions, that could put at risk the integrity and health of a worker and environment.**What You Need**- Relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred, Bachelor on administration or engineering- Proven purchasing experience, preferably within an industrial and electronic manufacturing environment- Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements- Project management experience- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of electronic and industrial processes and components and supply chain management- SAP knowledge- Computer literate, to include advanced Excel skills- Manage and continuously review the Purchase Order System (MRP), to ensure it is accurate, up to date and consistently meets the requirements of the business- Purchase materials in line with inventory targets.- Timely and effective communication of forecasts and purchase orders to suppliers.- Continually review the overall “value” offered by existing suppliers and ensure that the Company’s purchasing remains globally competitive.- Management of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);- Reviews inventory levels to support inventory reduction goals.- Participate and provides support related with environmental, Health and Safety objectives, targets and programs.- Any other reasonable duties, which may require by management from time to time.**What is Nice to Have?**- Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies- Embraces personal challenge- Confident, rounded thinking- Self-aware, assertive, optimistic and open to change.
