We are seeking a Solution Architect with strong experience in the financial sector and deep knowledge of banking systems, especially those involving SPEI and SPID payment rails. The ideal candidate will have expertise in microservices-based architectures, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), event-based integration, messaging technologies, and the design of scalable digital banking solutions. Responsibilities Design end-to-end solution architectures for banking platforms, ensuring high availability, scalability, resilience, security, and operational continuity. Lead the technical and functional design of integrations related to SPEI, SPID, interbank payments, validations, and reconciliations . Define and implement architectures using REST microservices, APIs, messaging systems, and event-driven processing . Produce architecture documentation, diagrams, technical guidelines, and PoCs to support development teams. Participate in technology modernization , cloud migration, and digital transformation initiatives. Align business, security, infrastructure, and non‑functional requirements across multiple internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with IT best practices, security frameworks, and regulatory standards applicable to the financial sector (CNBV, cybersecurity, continuity, audit). Collaborate closely with developers, technical leads, business teams, and architecture committees. Perform design reviews, code quality assessments, and enforce architecture standards and development best practices. Identify opportunities for optimization, innovation, new patterns, and continuous improvement. Requirements 10+ years of experience in software architecture, solution design, or technical leadership. Proven background in banking architecture and mission‑critical transactional systems. Hands‑on experience with SPEI, SPID, STP, interbank payments , routing, and financial messaging. Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SOAP, Kafka, ActiveMQ, Artemis , and event‑driven integration. Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud components, DR design, IAM controls, and cost modeling. Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns: Camel, EIP, messaging queues, pub/sub. Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, Ansible. Knowledge of security frameworks: Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC , tokenization, access management. Experience with core banking integrations, digital onboarding, and KYC/AML processes (nice to have). Proficiency with PlantUML, Draw.io, Confluence, Jira, and architectural documentation tools. Advanced English proficiency. Preferred Qualifications Experience in brokerage firms, digital banks, or high‑volume payment platforms. Experience as SME, technical lead, or IT manager. Soft Skills Excellent communication and executive‑level articulation. Strong analytical thinking and structured problem‑solving. Technical leadership and collaboration across cross‑functional teams. Proactiveness, ownership, and critical thinking.
