**Job Description**:As a Production Group Leader, you are responsible for the effective use of personnel, material, and equipment. Participates in the training, developing and evaluating of hourlyteam members. Participates in the development of highly effective teams. Leads Global Manufacturing Systems(GMS) processes andserves as resource supporting launch and pilot activities in assigned areas. Meets or exceeds production cost schedule and maintainsquality requirements. Maintains awareness of quality standards, and communicates department quality goals, and leverages resources tosolve quality issues. Builds and maintains good working relationships with employees, union and management. Understands andconsistently administer the National and Local Agreements between General Motors and the United Auto Workers Union. Implements andfollows systems that prevent reoccurrence of known issues. Promote safe work practices and achieve objectives for ergonomics, health andsafety and housekeeping. Motivates, trains and develops employees to effectively perform their jobs utilizing standardized methods. Ensuremanufacturing/synchronous principles with emphasis on variation reduction, control costs, and achieve productivity improvements. Coach,teach, counsel and mentor Group Leaders in these responsibilities.**Work Apropertly**On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis**What will you do?**People ManagementCompliance with the production planStart production shift on timeMonitoring of corporate Quality and Productivity systems (GMS)Payroll administration of hourly employeesProblem SolvingCollaborate cross functionally to develop creative solutions.Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadershipAbility to be flexible and at times work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution.Ability to travel to plant locations when required for onsite support of launch and build-out.Ability to problem tackle complete issues and implement new and innovative strategies.**Additional Job Description**:**Required Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s Degree: Industrial Engineer Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic and all Engineering related.- Required experience in similar position: from 1 to 3 years.- Available to change shifts (4x3, 5x2, 6x1).- English Level: Intermediate /Advanced.**Preferred Qualifications**:Microsoft OfficeJust so you know diversity and inclusion are our strengths.
