Be among the first 25 applicants Cloud Engineer – Observability & Datadog SME (Full-Time, Remote) We are looking for a hands‑on Cloud Engineer with prior experience in observability to join us in the Digital Ops team. The team designs, deploys and operates 150+ cloud services to increase the adoption of digital technologies internally and with our customers. In this role you will be responsible for the observability aspects of our cloud architecture and production operations, focusing on Datadog and Azure cloud technologies. Start date: February 2026 Contract type: Full‑Time, Remote, Contractor Work hours and location: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm PST – Open to professionals living in LATAM What You’ll Be Doing Own the observability parts of the cloud architecture and production operations of our digital cloud services spanning multiple continents. Define ways of working, runbooks, and training materials. Be the subject‑matter expert on observability – operate and leverage our observability platform to monitor and alert on operational issues. Work in a hybrid team of highly skilled DevOps/SRE engineers and cross‑functional development teams. Attend all sprint ceremonies, estimate and track work items promptly and accurately. Support development teams in the set‑up, release, and operations of services in non‑production and production environments. Document DevOps processes and write runbooks. Identify and implement new ways of working focused on automation and reducing unnecessary and repetitive work. Be on‑call to triage and resolve production incidents, act as incident commander, and run post‑mortems. Set, meet and report on targets for operational excellence, performance, reliability, security, and costs. What You Need to Succeed Must‑haves 2+ years of experience with Datadog products, including configuration and cost management. 3+ years of hands‑on experience in a DevOps/SRE role. Practical experience in Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, Datadog, Docker. Preferred experience (not mandatory): ArgoCD, CI/CD with Azure DevOps, Databricks, SQL. Proven experience operating and managing customer‑facing cloud solutions involving 24x7 support, performance and cost optimizations, tracking and meeting SLAs. Experience working in remote teams independently, capable of speaking up, requesting help, and following processes to track work and complete tasks. Hands‑on development experience evaluating and building DevOps/SRE tooling (e.g., automation) to remove toil. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, Cloud architecture) are a great asset.
