Technical Project Manager
Full Time | Location: México or Colombia

The Project Management role is a service position, playing a key role in the local services team. This person will be accountable for the end to end quality of projects and services delivered by the service teams. The PMO is responsible for the day-to-day operational activities. This person provides direction to the projects assigned and supports in resolving project issues and customer concerns, and ensuring engagement success criteria are consistently met.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Services Leaders to introduce standard methodologies and ensure adherence to corporate governance compliance and successful delivery for projects and service engagements.
  • Ensure projects are implemented with full compliance with our Project Management Methodology, any local project governance requirements, financial processes, financial records and reports and audit follow up.
  • Ensure service program delivery adheres to the strictest standards of excellence and maintain profitability through proper resource management and allocation.
  • Responsible for maintaining, supporting and improving on an ongoing basis the execution of project governance within the framework of our Project Management Methodology.
  • Actively leads project issues to resolution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives as an active participant of our organizational change process; develop team’s collection of feedback about possible improvements, issues, and concerns (what is working well, what is not working well) based on feedback from Lessons Learned.
  • Build reports and analyze the performance of individual team members on a monthly basis; review results of service projects to develop team performance.

What we need to see from you

Education:

  • University degree or equivalent experience in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or another relevant degree.
  • Current PMI Project Management Professional Certification, or other relevant PM or Service Delivery Management certification.

Work Experience:

  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience in dealing with customers and clients and providing a high degree of customer support, education, and service.
  • Experience in all aspects of project & service management including, financial management, budget management, contract management, risk management, quality management, program management and reporting.
  • Experience in delivery methodologies.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Professional Automation System is helpful.
  • Experience with project management of technical solution implementation/deployments and led services.
  • Risk management experience is helpful.
  • Results based management experience.

Languages:

  • B2 written and verbal communication skills in English.

Key Competencies:

  • Demonstrates ability to coordinate, communicate and handle tasks to a tight schedule.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the risk factors associated with project delivery and an ability to mitigate against these.
  • Ability to delegate, empower, support and inspire team members.
  • Ability to establish priorities, to plan, and be able to deliver to timelines.
  • Ability to work long hours in fast-paced, often stressful environment.
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude and problem-solving approach.
