**PROCESS ENGINEER****(WITH EXPERIENCE IN HARNESSES)****The Industrial Engineer is responsible for supporting the Production Departments with technical coordination support of methods, processes, labor standards, new equipment, tooling, systems, ECN execution, and new product development coordination related to the manufacture and quality of products.**:- Lead and participate in lean manufacturing activities striving for continuous improvement.- Lead Kaizen and Problem-Solving teams and promote improvement activities.- Establish labor standards, process improvements, and tooling recommendations.- Modification and generation of assembly aides and process documentation (DPIs).- Ability to translate technical documentation, e.g. instructions, from English to Spanish.- Investigate, resolve, and provide decision making for production and quality issues.- Actively participate and lead manufacturing activities relating to new products.- Provide support to insure manufacturability and design review activities.- Prepare and justify cap ex requests for projects and equipment.- 6S and safety activities in all production areas- Develop BOM’s and assembly drawings to allow for a smooth introduction of new products from design to manufacturing.- ECN (Engineering Change Notice) generation, review and implementation support.- First Article (FA) review and implementation support.- Address manufacturability issues and support prototype/system pre-production builds.**REQUIREMENTS**:- Professional degree- 3 to 4 years in similar areas- English (advanced)- Green belt certification (desirable)- Experience using MiniTab, CAD, Access/SQL and LabView.
