If that's not enough, then check out these other perks below : Hiring Location : LATAM (Mexico) Full-time contractual role Internal job title : Business Analyst Flexible hours Number of hours per week : 40 Educational Support (LinkedIn Learning, LOMA Courses and Equisoft University) Role : The Business Analyst reports to the Director of Projects and works closely with the project development team in-house. The incumbent will be responsible for gathering formal requirements from the clients and translating those requirements into clearly defined deliverables for the implementation team. Your Day with Equisoft : Translate various unstructured requirements into business, functional and non-functional user stories (with clear acceptance criteria) Assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and drawings, and articulate them into a viable design Keep product documentation up to date at all times and contribute to the design of new roadmap functionalities Conceptualize business needs and processes into functional building blocks that fit in the capabilities of our existing software Support the development team during the sprint (answer questions, participate in demos, review test cases, etc.) Participate in pre-planning sessions with the Business Lead, Technical Lead, Project Manager and Subject matter experts from the Client to define next sprint priorities. Create and Refine the needed user stories and acceptance criteria for the sprint and partner with the Functional Architect and Team Lead to confirm logical task breakdown and other details Provide pre-sales support on the product from time to time Facilitate product demos of completed features and functionality Requirements : Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or information Technology or College Diploma 7 years of experience in a similar role with 7 years of experience in software development Proven experience as an analyst in Agile software development projects, preferably in a technical capacity Knowledge of the Life and Health insurance industry Knowledge of MS Suites (Excel intermediate-high) Familiarity with Gherkin syntax Proficient in business analysis techniques, including user story creation, process modeling and requirements elicitation Strong communication skills (specifically with clients) Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize activities effectively Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions Fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish is required Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create clear and concise requirement artifacts Equisoft is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
