Overview: Responsible of assisting the Strategic Sourcing Leader in the Global/Regional Sourcing Supply Base Strategies, focusing on critical components related to Specific Commodities. Responsibilities:**Main Responsibilities**:- Provide the organization with productivity and cost saving projects to meet and/or exceed the annual objective.- Execute sourcing strategies under the guidance of the Strategic Sourcing Manager in alignment with Global Supply Manager.- Maintain the MRP System (SAP) database with any commercial term such as; price, incoterm, payment term and conditions for new and current parts.- Develop new vendors for Tijuan plant, in alignment with Global and Local sourcing Manager.- Coordinate quality and engineering approval for new samples.- Assure Global Sourcing procedures for integration of new supplier/part is followed.- Support Purchasing Area in expediting activities.- Clearly convey requirements to suppliers and resolve issues.- Projecting industry trends to implement appropriate responses and contingency measures.- Lead and document the Supplier selection and reevaluation process.- Solve any issues of vendors payments due to invoices discrepancies or prices.- Assure that the contracts negotiated by GSM or locally are taking place and keep informed the Strategic Sourcing Leader.- Download weekly the latest BOMs and update cost as needed & Request technical documentation from suppliers requested by engineering.**Requirement s and knowledge**:- Three to five years of experience.- Bachelor's degree in international business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics etc...- Three years in supply chain related function desirable.- Advanced level conversational English.- MRP systems knowledge - SAP preferably.- MS Office 365 (Excel intermediate level).- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.- Previous experience in raw material procurement.**Soft skills**:- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.- Negotiation.- Proficiency in market research and analysis.- Supplier Management.- Project management.- Time management.- Interpersonal relationships.- Empathy.- Proactivity
