Determines methods and techniques to be used or adapts standard methods to meet variations. Coordinate phases of work with outside vendors.- Identifies, designs and develops the necessary equipment.- Performs materialtests.- Studies the processes to implement improvements.- Responsible for preparing and managing specifications.- Assists technicians and engineers about unusual problems.- Responsible for purchasing and designing equipment that meets safety and environment requirements.Performs activities of process/product validation.- Can supervise, coordinate and technically revise the work of a limited group of technicians.- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level- Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmentalpractices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Companyregulations, policies, and procedures- Performs other duties assigned as needed**Qualifications** QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**- Masters in Science is recommendable.- Preferably 2 years in a similar position.- Preferably knowledge in the medical industry.- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices anddocumentation, preferably in the medical industry.- Experiment design- SPC knowledge- Management of statistical procedures.- Knowledge of computer programs.- Oral and written communication in Spanish and English, preferably.- Process Engineer II, Senior and Staff: Strong comprehension of standard costs and work standards.- Process Engineer Senior and Staff: Knowledge of productive processes.- Process Engineer Staff: Experimental Engineering techniques, 80% English.**Primary Location**Mexico-Chihuahua-Juarez- **Organization**Cordis de Mexico S.A. de C.V.
