Develop/maintain meaningful metric, compare to reasons for misses and determine root cause for inaccuracies. Ensure the proper inventory adjustment is transacted and corrective action is taken.**Job Duties**:The position of Inventory Analyst will:1. Perform all administrative duties within the cycle count for assigned area of accountability, including providingrelated work direction to the shop floor.2. Verify, count and transact accurate inventory within MRP.3. Analyze inventory discrepancies, determine root cause, and ensure proper entry for record adjustment and assistin the execution of required corrective action.4. Communicate inventory inaccuracies timely, to appropriate team rep.5. Audit adherence to established inventory procedures and assist in authoring revisions to procedures.6. Assist in the training of any revised or new inventory policies or procedures.7. Publish meaningful metrics.8. Reach and sustain 95%+ inventory record accuracy within assigned area of accountability.9. Interacts with many departments to provide work direction and leadership in the cycle count program to maintaininventory record accuracy (depts. include: shop teams, engineering, receiving, stockroom, inspection,manufacturing engineering, production control, accounting, and service parts). Contact suppliers to resolve issueswith inventory discrepancies.10. Perform detailed root cause analysis, determine corrective action and relate the solutions to the appropriatedepartment. Actively participate in major activities (such as work center moves/ new product introductions andreceiving auditing process) that may have an effect on the inventory accuracy within assigned area ofaccountability.The position of Inventory Analyst Works under limited supervision of the manager/supervisor manages own day-to-day priorities to accomplish overall objectives of the job. Emphasis in the areas of inventory and production control methods and procedures, product structure, routers, and engineering change control. Forklift experience desired. Strong written/oral communications skills and demonstrates solid problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to work within team environment.**Background/Experience**:The position of Inventory Analyst requires a high school education.
