In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting and enhancing our industry-leading advanced control (DMC3) and dynamic optimization (GDOT) products, utilizing cutting-edge software tools, AI, and advanced modeling and optimization technologies. This unique opportunity allows an exceptional software developer to contribute to a rapidly expanding product that serves as a fundamental pillar for industry digitalization.## **Your Impact*** Primarily focus on designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting DMC3/GDOT products.* Analyze customer requirements and translate them into product features and use cases.* Deliver innovative solutions to enhance our products, ensuring they provide better value for our customers with a focus on simplicity in deployment and maintenance.* Collaborate with other teams to identify synergies among AspenTech’s extensive range of products.* Work collaboratively with the extended team in Product Management, Customer Support, and Quality Assurance to ensure a successful product release and seamless customer adoption.## What You'll Need* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields with 10+ working experience.* Passion for software development.* Proficiency in software development in C#, JavaScript and TypeScript.* Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Windows Forms (WinForms) development.* Hands-on experience in Angular, React, or Vue, with preferred experience in Progressive Web Applications (PWA).* Knowledge of design patterns such as MVVM or MVP to ensure clean, maintainable code.* Familiarity with unit testing frameworks.* Experience with third-party UI controls such as Infragistics or DevExpress is a plus.* Experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming is a plus.* Strong problem-solving skills.* Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills.* Demonstrated ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.* Experience in software project management is a plus.* recruitment information such as your application form and resume, references, qualifications and membership of any professional bodies and details of any pre-employment assessments;* your contact details and date of birth;* your gender;* your marital status and family details;* your identification documents including passport and driver's license and information in relation to your immigration status and right to work with us;* information about your contract of employment (or services) including start and end dates of employment, role and location, working hours, details of promotion, salary (including details of previous remuneration), pension, benefits, and holiday entitlement;* your racial or ethnic origin;* any criminal convictions and offences. #J-18808-Ljbffr
