Marketing Events Specialist

**Company Description**MedTrainer is an innovator in the healthcare industry, changing the landscape of technology offers with the Medtrainer Platform Solution comprised of our proprietary Learning Management System (LMS), our core focus on Compliance Training as well our Managed Services offering in Credentialing and Compliance Management.- ** This position is full time office (On site in Queretaro, Mexico)****Job Description** Role Overview**:As the Events Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing both in-person and virtual events aimed at building brand awareness, generating leads, and fostering client engagement. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to develop event strategies and experiences that align with our business goals.**Responsibilities**:**Event Planning & Execution**- Manage in-person and virtual events, including trade shows, conferences, virtual roundtables, and client user conference events.- Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, scheduling, budget management, and vendor relations.- Coordinate the pre-show and post-show promotion with the sales team to generate appointments pre-event and to track the new sales opportunities from each event.- Ensure events are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with the company’s brand and messaging.- Contribute to the planning process by researching event options and sourcing details that are input into the event plans.**Event Marketing & Promotion**- Develop event-specific materials such as presentations, digital assets, signage, and swag, ensuring all materials align with brand standards.- Actively participate at the tradeshow booth when traveling to shows.**Stakeholder & Vendor Management**- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors, including AV teams, caterers, and technology providers.- Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to align event goals with broader business objectives.**Data & Reporting**- Measure and analyze event performance, including attendance, engagement, and ROI.- Gather feedback and insights to refine event strategies and improve future events.**Budget Management**- Manage event budgets and expenses to ensure all events are delivered within approved budgets.- Track event-related expenses and prepare reports for management review.**Qualifications**- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.- 1-2 years of experience in event management or comparable complex projects- Willing and able to travel to support tradeshows.- Demonstrated success in planning and executing virtual and in-person events, or managing complex details and projects.- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple events and tasks simultaneously.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.- Work in-person out of our Mexico office (with ability to earn 1 day a week virtual after ramping).**Additional Information** Personal Attributes**- ** Detail-Oriented**:You manage logistics with precision and don’t miss a beat.- ** Strategic**:You understand how events support broader marketing and sales goals.- ** Clear Communicator**:You work well with cross-functional teams and external partners.- ** Creative**:You ensure every event and asset aligns with brand identity.- ** Proactive**:You anticipate needs and take initiative without waiting to be asked.- ** Collaborative**:You thrive in team environments and value shared success.- ** Adaptable**:You stay calm and flexible when plans shift or challenges arise.**We Offer**- Opportunities for professional growth and skill development.- Salary ranging from **$17,000 to $24,000 (according to experience and skills).**:- A dynamic and creative work environment.- Flexible work arrangements (if applicable).- Competitive compensation and benefits.
