The Production Supervisor responsible for providing leadership to ensure the deliverables of a value stream are met and improved. He / She will be in charge of a group of product families that have similar manufacturing flow and processes. He /She will be accountable for the performance of the Value Stream in terms of: Safety, Quality, Production plan execution. He / She will have also the responsibility to identify opportunities to eliminate waste and reduce cost. The Production Supervisor works closely with the support groups in order to achieve the results, own the production team performance, Organize team members for efficient completion of production goals.**JOB DUTIES**:- Manages and coordinates production operations.- Supervising Operations within a facility to achieve higher output.- Organizing training and educational manuals for the production team.- Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires.- Coordinate supervisor and supports teams in order to solve problems.- Responsible for production and assembly activities.- Implements short- and long- term manufacturing plans.- Ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards within a facility.- Ensuring the flow of raw materials and other resources.- Is able to see waste and opportunity even in leaner processes. Drive reduction or elimination of this waste in the value stream: scrap, downtime, overtime, industrial supply.**YOU MUST HAVE**:- Engineering Bachelor's degree**WE VALUE**:- 3-5 years of experience as a production supervisor- Experience leading self-directed teams- Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong work ethic- Ability to write reports legibly and accurately.- Adherence to manufacturing procedures.- Drive productivity improvements.- Know basic statistics concepts- Drive culture of continuous improvement- Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing knowledge- Set Challenging Goals Objectives and communicate them with key staff.- Set good manufacturing practices and continuous flow to improve productivity.- Ensure good HS&E Practices**WHAT'S IN FOR YOU**:- Great work environment and Resideo benefits area above the law.At Resideo, we bring together diverse individuals to build the future of homes.
