POSITION SUMMARY : The Web Developer is primarily responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of Health’s external digital properties. The Web Developer collaborates extensively with an external vendor in creating web and mobile solutions. In addition to technical skills, a successful Developer is able to translate conceptual ideas into concrete tasks as well as translate business needs into technical requirements. Responsibilities include technical design, development, documentation and maintenance of digital properties and data integration between internal and external systems. The Developer ensures that all development activity supports strategic goals. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Build responsive, mobile-friendly web pages that work seamlessly across devices (desktops, tablets, and smartphones) to ensure Consumers (patients, providers and Health Plans members) have a consistent experience Integrates front-end components with back-end services and APIs Write efficient code and optimized code that minimizes load times and enhances the performance of webpages Work closely with designers to accurately translate design mockups, wireframes, and prototypes into functional front-end code Collaborate with QA teams to conduct UAT, ensuring that applications meet user expectations and functional requirements Collaborate with other developers on code changes, pull requests, and code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education/Skills: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field from an accredited college Excellent written and verbal communications skills Familiar with DevOps Practices and Agile Methodologies Experience: 2-5 years experience in front-end development on production-level applications Perficient in Git including branching, merging and pull requests Experience in consuming and interacting with RESTful APIs and handling JSON Strong Understanding of component libraries and design systems to maintain consistency and reusability in UI design Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD Best Regards, Equal Opportunity Statement: Genpact is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, military/veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental disability or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
