Commodity Manager

International Electrical Manufacturing Company is looking for his new Commodity ManagerYour new CompanyInternational Electrical Manufacturing company based in Toluca.LocationToluca, Mexico State.Your new roleAs commodity Manager you will be responsible for the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for direct commodities such as, aluminum, steel, copper, castings, between others, you will execute commodity strategy globally while optimising costs, delivery, quality and asses risks, you will analyze legacy product sourcing and collaborate with multifunctional teams ensuring an uninterrupted supply of materials, you´ll oversee supplier relationship management process for critical suppliers with focus on sustainable improvements in cost, payment terms and quality, identify new sources and establish strong and lasting supplier relationships that enable the business to grow, you will lead negations and material competitive bidding process for assigned commodities, analyze proposals and collaborate with corporate souring to ensure the executing of best practices providing strong sourcing visibility to the purchasing team.What you´ll need- Bachelor´s Degree concluded.- More than 4 to 5 years of experience in purchasing/sourcing department ideally for manufacturing or automotive companies.- Extensive experience managing commodities such as metals, aluminum, steel, cooper, castings, between other direct materials.- Experience implementing sourcing strategies, leading negotiations, and creating cost reduction campaigns with a proven savings record.- Self-driven & proactive attitude, negotiations and analytical skills.- Desirable SAP.- Advanced English.What you´ll get in return65.000 MXN + Superior Law Benefits.**What you need to do now**If this job isn't quite right for you but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career.#
