This is done by ensuring a well-maintained website, with accurate and vital content for our customers.Ensure that all ‘in life’ content is built to brand guidelines, reflects the IKEA brand values, copy and visual identity, tone of voice and quality standards and through this contribute to an optimal digital consumer decision journey- Plan and develop local, user-centric web content to deliver relevant information to support the customer decision journey and ensure that inspiration is delivered at the right place at the right time.- Plan the style and relevance of copy required and the frequency with which it will need updating; create schedules, agree and follow-up on deadlines to secure that all online media and content are aligned with the regional commercial calendar, including all offers and activities to ensure that all communication is up to date.Partner with functions (e.g. PR, marketing team, customer relations) across the organization to define and develop relevant local content in order to optimize web content and functionality- Work in close relationship with the Web Merchandiser on directions and commerciality online**Qualification**- Experienced to follow style and copy guidelines and briefs- Experienced in meeting deadlines and managing publishing schedules- Demonstrated skills in writing, editing and effective communication- Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, priorities and manage a high-volume of assignments- Demonstrated conceptual and logical abilities; proven ability to think creatively as well as strategically and tactically- Experienced in communicating in English, with various audiences both verbally and in writing- A background in journalism, or may have worked previously in marketing- Experience in creating and editing web content through a content management system Experience with Photoshop and CMS- HTML & CSS experience- SEO experience- Up to date knowledge of competitor activities and market trends- Have a broad understanding of copyright laws and data protection- IKEA Brand, Culture and Values- Understanding of user-centric web content and a strong instinct for usability and effective content organization- Knowledge of best web content practices, browser functionality- Good knowledge of how digital media channels can be supported by content- Knowledge of how to maintain logical directory structure and files on web server, including the handling of naming conventions- Knowledge of the fundamentals of grammar, syntax, style and punctuation- Basic understanding of web coding**More Information**This position is based in **Mexico City** and offers a rare opportunity to be part of the establishment of IKEA in a whole new market.
