Graphic Designer

**Summary/Objective****This is a creative position and we’re looking for someone with great energy, vision, and talent. This position works closely with the content development teams both in the US and Mexico to ensure on-time and quality products.**Essential Functions****-Creating quality designs and graphics to illustrate eLearning courses.Generating storyboards for course slides and animations.Collaborating with Design Team on visual standards and strategy.Staying abreast of current graphic trends.Sourcing readily available materials for our media library.**Education and Experience***:- Outstanding portfolio of visual graphics work.- Strong conceptual and design skills.- Experience working with 2D graphics software, including proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.- Competent with Microsoft Office.- 1-3 years of experience working as a Graphic Artist, Graphic Designer, Multimedia Artist, Course Developer, eLearning Designer, or in a related field. Preference given to those with eLearning experience.- College degree preferred in a related field.- Strong proactive communication skills.- Excellent grammar and written communications skills.- Must be self-directed.- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with a commitment to get the job done right.- Preferred, but not required:- Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools.Examples: Adobe Captivate or Storyline.- Familiarity with Adobe XD.- Familiarity with HTML, XML, Javascript, CSS**Competency***:- Strong grammatical, prioritization, and communication skills- Fluent in English.- Strong attention to detail.- Ability to self-manage multiple projects in different stages of production while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high-quality standard.- Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create the most visually compelling illustrations & media that support the content of our training products.- Ability to work successfully with a global, virtual team- Demonstrated ability to be a creative, self-reliant, self-organizing problem solver while working in a team environment.Ability to work well under deadline pressures.**Supervisory Responsibilities****Not applicable.**Work Environment****Work environment is office-based or remote (at home). Temperature, noise level, and other environmental factors may vary.**Physical Demands****Physical demands are equal to that commonly associated with office work. Majority of work time is spent sitting at desk in front of computer.**Position Type and Expected Hours of Work****Full time position. Must be available and meet obligations for the dept. during assigned business hours: US/MX 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
