About the Role We are looking for an Intermediate Data Engineer with hands‑on experience working with GCP, BigQuery, Python, and Tableau. The ideal profile is strong in communication, proactive, self‑sufficient, and able to ramp up quickly while collaborating closely with Product, Analytics, and Data teams. You will contribute to building and maintaining data pipelines, transforming datasets, and delivering clear analytics that support business decision‑making. Location: LATAM Time Zone: U.S. East/West Coast hours How You’ll Make an Impact Build and maintain data pipelines and workflows within the GCP ecosystem, especially BigQuery. Develop and support data transformations, queries, and optimizations in BigQuery. Use Python to automate tasks, support ingestion processes, and perform data validations. Create and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and proper documentation across datasets. Communicate clearly and proactively with team members and stakeholders. Work independently on assigned tasks, escalating issues when needed, and taking initiative to propose improvements. Ramp up quickly on the client’s environment and contribute effectively in early stages. What We’re Looking For Must‑Haves 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer. At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with GCP. Strong SQL expertise and practical experience with BigQuery. Solid experience using Python for data engineering tasks. Working proficiency with Tableau for reporting and visualization. Strong communication skills: clear, vocal, and collaborative. Proactive, independent, and comfortable working with minimal supervision. Ability to ramp up quickly and adapt to evolving requirements.
