This role is crucial for ensuring efficient production processes, adherence to safety standards, and successful project execution. The supervisor collaborates with cross functional teams, manages resources, and contributes to process optimization.**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:** To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. * Manage requests for all product compliance work, including new business opportunities, existing product, and any product change.* Supervise Compliance team to oversee work for all compliance requests.* Co-ordinate with Market Leaders and Management to prioritize request based on changing needs.* Evaluate request and assign work to corresponding Compliance Engineer* Review performance, motivate team by providing feedback and set goals for all team members* Develop and maintain a system to generate and process product compliance requests from different departments.* Define compliance scope of work for New Products by preparing timelines, cost estimates, and required resources, including any new test laboratories and equipment requirements.* Prepare weekly report and communicate progress for all product compliance work to Management team.* Take leadership to resolve any incompliant product sales, by providing knowledge and creating processes.* Support compliance team members to drive product compliance needs and resolve any conflicts of interest.* Determine process for internal and external lab product testing to verify agency and regulatory compliance.* Develop and maintain working relationship with regulatory agency, product test lab facilities and consultants.* Build compliance database storage system to allow easy and secured access to all product Declaration of Conformity* Supervise the preparation, organization, and maintenance of all agency and regulatory compliance documentation and related product testing.* Drive team to research and identify applicable regulatory and industry compliance standards and codes for new market opportunities.* Keep abreast of changes to the various compliance engineering practices and standards by participating in educational opportunities, professional organizations, and maintaining personal networks.* Mentor direct reports to develop skills and capabilities to grow with business needs.* Enforce agency and regulatory compliance for all existing and new products.* Provide training and resources to all employees to understand basic product compliance requirements.* Prevent compliance issues by collaborating with engineering planning and design teams, reviewing design data, and developing compliance policies.* Provides engineering support to resolve product and/or manufacturing problems relating to compliance issues.* Participate in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities & Point Kaizen initiatives.* Work with Corporate initiatives to strengthen product compliance requirement.* Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on organization needs.Team Management: • Understand team dynamics and effective management practices. This includes setting clear goals, monitoring progress, and adapting strategies as necessary.
