Quality Engineer Senior Acuity Inc. Job Summary Development, design, specification, and/or documentation of systems focused on product and process quality assurance. Understanding all actions needed for the product and the process to meet and exceed customer expectations and specifications. Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Customer Quality Claim Reduction and Cost of Poor Quality reduction (CoPQ) Quality Assurance and Control process administration Manage new Product Introduction Product engineering change and bill of materials update Cost Reduction Process Skills and Minimum Experience Required Quality system implementation (QMS) Quality Assurance knowledge Corrective Action Management (problem solving techniques) Process control (definition and monitoring process critical variables) Product specification and documentation maintenance Negotiator, proactive and excellent interpersonal relationships High level of detail analysis skills APQP/PPAP knowledge (PFMEA, product spec, test spec knowledge, control plan, process flow chart, calibration) English, advanced Geometrical Dimensional & Tolerance Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 2–4 years of experience in similar role within manufacturing industry Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing EEO Statement We value diversity and are an equal opportunity organization.
