Commodity Procurement Manager

In return we offer a corporate culture which champions professional development, embraces and leads change, creates ingenious solutions for our customers and encourages collaboration.**What's the role about?****What will you do?**- Responsible to deliver Indirect Commodity Procurement budget for the commodity category assigned- Actively lead or participate in cost improvement initiatives.- Development and execution of the Commodity Procurement strategy for Capex, Spares & Inv. Tools- Ensure strategic sourcing according to GKN Automotive STD- Manage regional or global tender resulting in the implementation of the awarded scenario.- Contribute to market intelligence & best practices sharing and implementation for the commodity.- Define, implement and track QCD / KPI objectives for the commodity.- Manage and strengthen Supplier Relationship Management incl. Panel & Contract Management- Ensure transparency and accuracy of data in the Procurement Information System.- Support CPD in achieving overall objectives, with dedicated analysis/reports (weekly/monthly) and in projects- Work close and align with business stakeholders, i.e. BU, plants, other business functions**What are we looking for?- Procurement experience as a Commodity / Category Manager or minimum 5 years’ experience on a regional or global level.- Minimum 3 years’ procurement experience in CapEx / Investment with knowledge of production equipment like assembly line, machining processes and Invested tools like fixtures, chucks, mandrels and machine specific tools.- Relevant knowledge of supplier base in Best Cost Country (global), cost structure and TCO.- Technical understanding, strong communication skill and experience with matrix organisations.- Awareness of market trends in terms of best practices and innovation on this category.- Proven track record in planning and executing cross-functional cost reduction projects related with production sites and other relevant business stakeholders.- Experience in development, communicating and implementing Global or Regional commodity strategies including contract and project management.- Experience in working with e-sourcing tools and e-catalogue implementation- Excellent negotiation, contract and supplier management skills- Experienced at working in a global and matrix organization.- Results oriented with a proven track record in target achievement.- Strong written and oral communications skills (English)- MS Office advanced user.**NOTE: Please submit your resume in English.
