Description- Global Strategic Sourcing of “Waste Management Services” incl. selling of recyclable and valuable waste materials, with focus on the Americas.- Identification of cost improvement potentials of waste streams in the area of Automotive & Rubber industries.- Identification, developing and promoting Global Strategic Suppliers based on SRM requirements.- Preparation and conduction of functional workshops with the target of gathering cost saving opportunities for our worldwide production facilities.- Using synergies by leveraging of regional and global volumes.- Steering of projects and conducting of negotiations to conclude regional and global frame agreements.- To be an advisor in functional matters for our internal customers.- Working within an intercultural team of different functions along the entire process chain.- Definition, implementation and tracking of relevant KPI's on a global scale according to the corporate target settings.- Ensure Compliance with Continental’s Code of Conduct.**Qualifications**:- Academic degree in Economics, Natural Sciences, Engineering (focus on Environmental / Sustainability preferred).- 5+ years of professional experience required, ideally in sourcing Waste Management Services and Selling of respective materials / waste / scrap.- Very good knowledge in materials processes (Automotive and Rubber Industries), e. g. recycling, circular economy, etc.- Technical background in materials treatments and methods.- Knowledge of Supplier Relationship Management.- Legal and contract skills.- Project management experience.- Familiar with Microsoft Office Software and SAP systems.- Strong and fluent language skills in English (Business English) mandatory, Spanish, and other languages preferable.- Good negotiation and communication skills.- Persuasion, assertiveness as well as result and goal oriented working style.- Intercultural sensitiveness and experiences with working in international teams.Continental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
