Lead Mobile Frontend Developer

Your primary tasks are to contribute to the development of a stable, robust, aesthetic and maintainable product. As a team leader, you are expected to have a deep understanding of the code, strict attention to detail, and be a mentor to others on the team.This position will report to the CTO.**Responsibilities**:Participate in decision making concerning architecture, design and code reviewsMentor and assist in the training and onboarding of other front end team membersEnsure tasks delivered by the front end team meet the expectations of all stakeholdersWork closely with other members of the development team and stakeholdersMaintain high standards, attention to detail, accuracy and completenessDevelop new user-facing featuresBuild reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.Able to code pixel-perfect and fully accessible UI based on designs and wireframesProven ability to leverage high quality, customizable, open-source plugins and modules while developing new and existing features.This is an individual contributor role for now, but as we scale will include mentoring and acting as a player-coach for more junior team members.**Requirements**:- Minimum 6 years of experience with Javascript, Typescript, React, and React Native,- Minimum 5 years Swift experience and frontend Kotlin/Java experience- Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns- Prior experience in a similar role with an early stage, fast paced start-up in an agile environment is required- Proven expertise with consumer apps, ideally with social and gamification features- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently with excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work fast and efficiently, minimizing error while maximizing output- Experience with Jira and Confluence is required- A portfolio of professional react native app development work for mobile apps- A collaborative workflow and decision making process- Expert experience with HTML and CSS including deep understanding of best practicesWhat's in it for you:- Competitive base salary with accelerated incentive compensation, bonuses, and equity- Excellent health, dental, vision, insurance and other benefits- Accelerated career growth and investment in your learning and development- “Remote First” flexible work environment- Emphasis on results, not how or where you get it done- Great people- A big mission to do good in the worldReady to embark on an inspiring journey?
