QA Engineer
We are seeking a QA/Automation Engineer with 2-4 years of experience, who will develop and apply an automated testing framework for our products based on Java and Angular/AngularJS technologies. This automation engineer will be working closely with a team of software developers and business analysts to analyze requirements, develop test plans and test cases, and help automate them in an Agile/Scrum environment.
The QA Test Engineer promotes the use of test automation across the testing team and our global company, helping to educate management and stakeholders to the benefits of automated testing. The role is hands-on, including design and coding of test scripts and the automation framework.

In this opportunity as QA Engineer , you will:

Scope:
• Deliver testing solutions for a single product and/or participate in complex projects.
• May lead straightforward projects that are not complex in nature.
• Operate with a moderate level of guidance and direction.

Sphere of Influence:
• Immediate project or QA/Software Development Engineer team.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to execute.

Delivery:
• Detect, highlight and track bugs.
• Perform activities according to quality criteria.
• Deliver testing solutions for a single product and/or participate in complex projects.
• Proven ability to work within an agile environment.
• Actively and collaboratively contribute to meetings, processes, and agile ceremonies with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure that risks are identified.

Business Acumen:
• Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with key customers.
• Understand the markets we serve, our products, and customers.
• Knowledge of business rules related to the company's products.
• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into test cases.
• Able to interpret customer scenarios and convert them into manual and/or automated test scripts.

Leadership:
• Understand product strategy & objectives. Align QA Engineering work accordingly.
• Address routine objections and concerns with limited support; know when escalation is needed.
• Create operating mechanisms to ensure all voices are heard within the project team; commit to team decisions once made.
• Identify opportunities to improve business and processes.
• Share information clearly and articulately via all mediums to all audiences.
• Learn and adapt; bounce back from setbacks.
