Senior Financial Analyst, Global R&d

**Responsibilities**:- Support Accounting with month-end and year-end close activities, provide monthly financial reporting analysis including explanations and insights of key drivers of variability.- Develop and enhance financial models that track and analyze key metrics that impact Global R&D’s financial performance and resource allocations.- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and perform analysis on Capex and Opex projects, ensuring financial alignment with strategic goals.- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support executive decision-making.- Support mid-year Forecast, Annual budget, and long-term strategic planning activities on Headcount, Opex, and Capex for Global R&D operations.- Ensure Global R&D financial activities in compliance with internal policies, controls, and standard operating procedures.- Consistently and proactively drive continuous improvements to streamline reporting and analytical processes.- Represent Driscoll’s professionally in all internal and external engagements.- Other responsibilities as assigned- Domestic and international travel might be up to 10%- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. (MBA/CPA preferred)- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or analytics- Requires strong command of MX GAAP, familiar with US GAAP, management accounting, financial and managerial reporting principles- Requires strong analytical and problem solving abilities, comfortable working with large data sets to perform data analysis, data visualization, and financial modeling- Requires hands-on experience with Oracle, Hyperion, and Tableau or other BI analytics tools- Preferred experience with intercompany transactions and consolidations- Preferred hands-on experience with using programming languages (Python, SQL, ) for data analytics and financial modelling- Strong collaboration, interpersonal communication skills, and team spirit- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced global environment- Preferred experience in agriculture, life sciences or research and development business units- Spanish and English language skills required- Ability to travel domestically and internationally**About Driscolls**:Driscoll's is the global market leader for fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.
