**Descripción**:**Responsabilidades**:- Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure workspace and environment.- Develop and implement maintenance programs for equipment. improvements to existing automation in mechanical assembly, machining and inspection processes- Manage equipment purchase and installation.- Provide technical support to assigned team- Develop systems and layouts that follow lean manufacturing philosophies of one-piece flow and kanban, with emphasis on mistake proofing.- Arranges for maintenance of adequate level of spare parts so that there will be no interruption in operations due to shortages.- Provide training and guidance to all employee levels in the operation and maintenance of new equipment.- Initiates, reviews, masters, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for area of responsibility.- Coordinate the execution of specific equipment strategy for each asset involved with containing, controlling, or safeguarding high hazard process.- Meet and drive equipment OEE and Uptime.- In collaboration with Process Engineering drive RTY, FPY and Scrap metric health and improvements.- Ensures a strategy is in place to anticipates asset end-of-life, obsolescence and replacement requirements, without compromising asset performance and cost competitiveness. Ensures timely stakeholder awareness for capital planning purposes**Requisitos**:- Maintenance and/or automation supervisor with 3-5 years’ experience- Experience in managing/direct supervision of technical teams, contractors or other 3rd parties- Lean manufacturing practices (Kanban,- Poke-Yoke, JIT, Value Stream Mapping)- Strong Project Management skills- Understanding and functional knowledge of PLC’s, low voltage controls, three phase power distribution, vision systems.- Electronic sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and robotics.- Autocad / Solidworks / MS Office suite- Strong Communication skills (written and speaking
