Payments Specialist

Job DescriptionTo outline a structure for the Payments function in the FNB subsidiaries.The role is considered an operational function and requires the person to be the industry representative on behalf of FNB, with a focus on improving processes, attending to regulatory issues, and engaging in research.Are you someone who can- Contribute to the development of a budget aligned to operational delivery plans, monitor effectiveness and report on variances.- Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analysing trends and data.- Accumulate information to review work progress that provides input to reporting, decision making and the identification of improvement opportunities- Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and business internal compliance procedures and requirements within the Payment industry- Translate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects /initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress.- Have a minimum degree in Information Technology, Economics, or equivalent.- Have 2- 3 years relevant experience.- Have thorough understanding of the Bank's products will be an added advantage.You will have access to- Opportunities to network and collaborate.- Challenging working environment.- Opportunities to innovate.- A culture of sharing.postfnbJob Details29/08/25
