Commodity Inyection Molding Buyer**Date**:Sep 21, 2024**Location**: Monterrey, MX**Company**:OP Mobility**Responsibilities**:- Responsible for defining, preparing, communicating, and leading the execution of the Global Commodity Segment strategy for Plastic injection molding.- Support the development of a sustainable and innovative supply base to secure the global manufacturing footprint of Op mobility by Product Development technical roadmaps.- Responsible to reach both annual and long-term cost optimization targets, utilizing commercial, technical and logistic leverages.- Anticipate market risks and understand latest trends within relevant commodity development /- Act as a speaking partner towards large commodity manufacturers and distributors.- Establish open detailed cost models with key suppliers in the commodity/segment.- Understand and manage through indexation or hedging relevant material costs- Coordinate management of large-scale logistic crises and allocations.- Conduct regular Supplier performance review meetings or management reviews with strategic suppliers in the commodity/category.- Contribute to the company’s maturity growth by sharing lessons learned and general awareness of Opmobility complexity and specifics among team members and other Functions.**Requeriements education**- Degree in Business administration, Engineering, or relevant field of study.- Great negotiation and presentation skills- Problem-solving and analytical skills Cross-functional leadership and facilitation skills- Great communication_ _skills in an international environment- Multicultural fit- Flexibility in terms of traveling and handling problems (Hands-on mentality)- Microsoft, preferably SAP good knowledge.**Experience**- Minimum of 3 years of working experience as Buyer/Segment Lead for Plastic injection molding.
