Job Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Senior System Architect to join our team and play a critical role in defining the end‑to‑end architecture of our next generation LEO satellite communications system. In this position, you’ll work closely with internal engineers, architects, product and business development managers, and external suppliers leading the development of system components. You will write technical requirements, perform system trade studies, define the concept of operations, and maintain the technical baseline, including all interface definitions. You will work closely with the program and the Integration & Test team to ensure that the system is developed and is fit for purpose. Who You Are You are a system engineer who has worked on the design and deployment of at least one large multi‑user, bi‑directional wireless communications system. This does not have to be a satellite‑based system. You have a deep understanding and experience in the system development, integration, verification and validation process. You possess 5‑10 years of industry work experience. What You’ll Do Help define the functional composition of the whole communications system. Follow processes tracking key architectural decisions and changes. Review system level requirements and work with subsystem leads to ensure their requirements reflect the system needs. Maintain the technical baseline and support the Integrated Product Team initiatives. Perform system level trade studies. Define CONOPS to ensure that the system functional flows are clearly defined. Maintain the key subsystem level interface documentation and associated schema. Work with subsystem suppliers to ensure their designs meet the system level needs. What You’ll Need As well as systems engineering experience, you should have prior experience working in at least one of the following specific areas: 3GPP (5G) end‑to‑end system architecture Radio Access Network implementation/deployment Air Interface implementation/modelling Satellite User Terminal design and architecture You also should have experience using various systems engineering software tools for requirements management and model‑based systems engineering.
