You will have the opportunity to work with a cross functional team of engineers and continuously learn new skills and develop your practical engineering experience. You will be encouraged to manage your own development, continuously learning through experience and by staying abreast of technology.**Responsibilities**- Manage testing priorities and workload.- Document test plans based on software specifications.- Conduct software testing using HIL (hardware in the loop) and VPD (virtual product development) tools.- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues found during testing.- Lead issue resolutions working with software and systems engineers.- Communicate test results to management and project leads.- Communicate technical information to team members and other business units.- Document test conclusions with traceability.- Track product development issues to completion.- Investigate field issues.- Automate test procedures and internal processes to improve workgroup efficiency.- Ensure thoroughness and consistency of software testing conducted on engine/system benches, as well as in the lab and field.- Manage numerous aspects related to set-up and manage software test benches, included SW and HW upgrades.- Procurement and commissioning new unit, tracking and optimization of test bench utilization.- Generate and present accurate reports for validation thoroughness, status, and results.- Analyzing the requirements of electronic systems and components based on System Requirements, making and adjusting design plans accordingly.- Designing, testing, and creating electronic systems and components, while ensuring that products can work alone and/or are compatible with other systems.- Innovate for efficiency.- Collaborating with colleagues in electronics and other engineering branches.- Complying with safety regulations throughout the development process.**Degree Requirement**This position requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering**Skill Descriptors**:Products and Services:Obtains information about product and service linkages with other products and services elsewhere in organization.Accuracy and Attention to Detail:Utilizes specific approaches and tools for checking and cross-checking outputs.Processes limited amounts of detailed information with good accuracy.Learns from mistakes and applies lessons learned.Analytical Thinking:Quantifies the costs, benefits, risks and chances for success before recommending a course of action.Approaches a complex problem by breaking it down into its component parts.Chooses among a diverse set of analytical tools according to the nature of the situation.Effective Communications:Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques in English.Technical Excellence:Advises others on the assessment and provision of all technical solutions.Coaches others in promoting, defining, analyzing, and providing superior technical solutions to business problems.Provides effective solutions to moderate technical challenges through strong technical competence, effectively examining implications of events and issues.Assumes accountability for personal technical performance and holds others responsible for theirs.Electronics Engineering:Research considerations and tools used for converting schematics to layouts.Works with engineering electronic components or devices.Constructs circuit schematics; explains the interconnections between all electrical components.Product Testing:Coordinates execution of test plans, including resources, strategy, schedules, processes and tools.Collaborates with design team to ensure testing considerations are incorporated into system design.Recommends tools and techniques for automating, simplifying and enhancing product testing.Compares and contrasts alternative testing methodologies and tools.Matches testing methodology and tools to product being tested; develops test scenarios and scripts.Estimates time, effort and resources required for thorough testing.**Basic Qualification**:Demonstrated capability to read and understand embedded software developed in C and Matlab / SimulinkDemonstrated capability and passion for software testing, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.Fluent in English (writing, reading, and
