**Job Details**The main purpose of this role is to manage the Local Tax obligations for Johnson Controls Mexico, through supporting projects, annual activities and supporting on any critical change related to the following taxes: Social Security, INFONAVIT, FONACOT & State Taxes (ISN) in alignment with Federal & State laws & regulations.The position will interact with other corporate groups as well with the HR and Finance areas from the business groups, being support to the Process Owner for Payroll Taxes and reporting directly to the Payroll & Payroll Taxes Supervisor.**KEY RESPONSABILITIES**:- Support tax audits providing documentation backup documentation (IMSS, INFONAVIT & Payroll taxes audits).- Research tax laws & regulations on transactional tax issues and regular operations.- Function as main support to company projects such as:- Location creation/closing/merges/substitutions before IMSS / INFONAVIT / FONACOT / Estate Secretariats: investigate on documentation necessary, gather it asking for support to responsible areas and work with governmental areas to complete.- Analyze on data resulting from implementation to confirm its correctness: guarantee social security transactions are reflected within Payroll system, submitted to authority, team members have access needed to corresponding registries, and IMSS transactions are submitted timely.- Consolidate registries whenever possible to reduce time invested on its analysis.- Actively look for any possible savings, whereas part of a governmental program or by stablishing any good practice that exists.- Look for possibility of avoiding traveling by obtaining remote options to complete assignments.- Document all the learnings and mistakes, to guarantee improvements.- Manage Risk Premium submission to IMSS. Coordinate and collaborate with medical areas and HR to obtain detail on medical incidents to report. Inform on financial impact to controllers to create sensibility over taking action on safety.In registries with highest cost impact, conduct calls to improve local process through communication with the involved teams.- In projects, function as task lead, pushing forward to tasks completion and reporting to project manager on its compliance or barriers presented.- Generate system change ideas to reduce processing time, error preventions or adapt to changes. Monitor its implementations.**REQUIREMENTS**:- Bachelors Degree.- At least **1 **year of experience on a similar position or managing the taxes mentioned.- Public Accounting practice experience highly preferred. Corporate tax department experience a plus.- Strong knowledge on tax regulations FONACOT, IMSS, INFONAVIT and any other local regulation, strong technical skills, promoter of analytical thinking.- Strong technical and project skills. Excellent management of Microsoft Excel.- Good organization skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent situations and meet deadlines by prioritizing and communicating when support is needed. Ability to communicate clearly, accurately and tactfully, both verbal and writing. Technical proficient with strong analytical and research skills. Must have an ability to interact with other departments in a manner that will professionally represent the department.- English is a MUST
