Our continued success depends on itJob Title: R&D Lab SpecialistDepartment: FLSA Status: ExemptPosition Overview:- This position will be primarily responsible of the device library in TJ as well as the test equipment laboratory. The position will be directly involved with his counterpart lab manager from SD.**Responsibilities**:- Trains and guides to assure proper operation and maintenance of devices.- Distributes devices for use.- Troubleshoots, upgrades, maintains devices library.- Develops and maintains documentation.- Establishes and maintains device library procedures.- Coordinate shipping and receiving to the lab and work closely with logistics to ensure project devices are appropriately tracked and stored.- Maintain the storage room in a clean, organized and uncluttered way.- Additional duties as assigned.- Lead/Support projects related to the future of the laboratoryEducation and Experience:Minimum Requirements:- BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or similar field.- Experience managing a device lab is a plus.- 2+ yrs experience working in a development lab, preferable in R&D- 2+ yrs laboratory equipment oversightPreferred Skills and Competencies:- Conflict-resolution skills- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work accordingly- Excellent teamwork/problem solving skills and a positive attitude- Proven troubleshooting and analytical skillsPhysical Requirements (if applicable):- Be able to be on the office when new shipment arrives.NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements (requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least 1x/week; may work remotely other days). #LI-Hybrid
