Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.**:As a Continuation Improvement Specialist, you will be establishing and maintaining a continuous improvement culture in ABB, utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology, and creating transparency to monitor progress. Reporting to the QUALITY MANAGER, you will typically be implementing continuous improvement projects in the local organization and/or mastering multiple projects.**Your responsibilities**:- Executing continuous improvement and strategy deployment and working with other CI leaders to standardize processes and develop best practices- Working in cross-functional teams to execute the strategy and escalate as necessary to remove roadblocks- Identifying key team members in each function to support projects within the location, and encourage key individuals to develop their skills- Understanding the organization’s vision, objectives and needs, and suggesting projects, actions and tools to achieve them- Providing organization-wide visibility of the current portfolio of continuous improvement efforts, and tracking progress and value from these efforts- Providing training and coaching to people and teams so that they are better equipped to drive their improvement efforts for themselves, and driving standardization and consistency- Driving transformational projects with a hands-on (“gemba”) and problem-solving approach**Your background**:- 4 year accredited degree and 2 years of experience within Computer Science related role- Sound knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred- Experience with NEMA low and medium switchgear and motor control centers- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science- FLUENT ENGLISH**More about us**:
