You will experience these qualities of passion, pride and aspiration in many ways — from a rich set of career development programs to support of community service projects to social events that foster fun and relationship building across our global community.The RoleThe Senior Accountant position is an integral part of the GL team tasked with accounting for the Company’s domestic and international operations according to US GAAP. The GL team functions under a centralized global shared services concept. Primary responsibilities may include but are not limited to accounting for intercompany, compensation, and accruals. The Senior Accountant will act as an interface with other departments within the Company to understand and proactively review, analyze and reconcile various balance sheet and income statement accounts.Your Impact- Preparation of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.- Collaborate cross functionally and record appropriate intercompany, accruals and compensation entries.- Prepare worldwide intercompany matrix and actively resolve variances throughout the close- Assist in recording compensation journal entries and ensure cross charges are processed timely.- Assist in streamlining and automating intercompany transactions workflow within Oracle and related projects.- Incorporate ongoing system reporting improvements in the monthly close process.- Assist in preparation of schedules, analysis and financial results for external auditors.- Identify process improvements in the month-end close process and intercompany matrix automation.- Assist the team as needed including any ad-hoc project work.- Document policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility.What You'll Need- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.- 5+ years of relevant GL accounting experience, multi-currency accounting experience, c and intercompany reconciliation knowledge is a requirement.- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and consistency in both preparing and reviewing work.- Positive and professional demeanor- Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; be flexible, self-motivated and proactive.- Excellent problem-solving skills.- Must be able to seek out additional tasks as time allows and assume additional responsibilities.- Ability to meet stringent deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.- Strong analytical, quantitative skills and accounting research skills.- Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word and MS Excel.- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of major accounting software packages for general ledger accounting. Oracle R12, FCCS, Coupa and Hyperion experience is a plus.
