Mid-senior QA Automation Engineer with Cypress

The company’s centralized TITAN platform enables intelligence and security professionals to access structured information, dashboards, timely alerts and intelligence reporting via web portal or API integration.Our pedigree is unmatched and we count upon a team with experience operating in the intelligence services, military, law enforcement and private threat intelligence companies in nearly every continent on earth.**The Role**:Intel 471 is looking for an experienced Mid-Senior Automation Engineer (SDET) with Cypress and Python to join our world-class team on a contract basis, B2B. The role is located in Europe on a remote basis.Manual:- Understand the full product lifecycle (and how testing fits into it).- Ensure defects are clearly and concisely reported.- Ensure the quality of testing deliverables.- Work closely with the Product manager and developers to deliver the tasks on time and with the expected quality.- Be proactive and an active member of the team.Automation:- Use Cypress for UI testing and Python for API testing.- Develop and implement the end-to-end tests (UI, API, integration), creating new automation tests for new features.- Increase automation coverage for regression test suites.- Use Cypress for UI testing and Python for API testing.**Education, Experience & Qualifications**:Must have tech skills:- 3+ years of experience in writing automated tests and doing manual testing for SaaS.- Working experience with Cypress and good JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js knowledge.- Working experience in testing REST API within BDD (Cucumber) and using Python.- Familiar with the concept of CI/CD.- Be familiar with Agile frameworks and be able to integrate in a cross functional Agile team.Must have soft skills:- Good English communication skills (written and spoken).- Ability to effectively communicate with product stakeholders on automation strategy, coverage and results.- Effective verbal and written communication skills; effective customer service skills.- Self-motivation and ability to work independently in an agile environment.Desirable knowledge/experience:- Familiar with cybersecurity, threat landscape, and platform security domain.- Familiar with STIX, TAXII format pattern.**Benefits**:- Competitive compensation- Remote-friendly culture- Wellness programs- Employee recognition program- A variety of professional development opportunities- Inclusive culture focused on people, customers and innovation**Our Culture**:The Intel 471 team is constantly growing and is always on the lookout for talented professionals who seek to operate on the forefront of the fight against threat actors impacting our customers and partners.
