Requisition ID: 30015- Job Location(s): Reynosa, MXWe have an immediate opportunity for a **Strategic Buyer**, on our Global Procurement team, at our **Reynosa, **Mexico facility**.**The Strategic Buyer is responsible for operational procurement activities within our local/regional plant sites, acting as a key point of contact for our suppliers and within the organization.**Responsibilities**:Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.- Support organization goals and objectives with emphasis on cost savings, supplier performance, contribution margin, and sales- Material change management and PPAP activities- Procurement master data maintenance- Pricing and quotation review, negotiation, and evaluation- Supplier accountability for on time delivery and reimbursement claims- Negotiation and implementation of inventory solutions (CMI, VMI, 3PL, etc.)- Contract negotiation, management, and review- Supplier capacity management- Participate in department/plant wide projects and initiatives**Background & Skills**:- Degree within business, logistics, or supply chain. Other relevant fields of study within manufacturing, quality, and or engineering will be considered **and** 1+ years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or parts/supplier management **o**r** 3+ years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or parts/supplier management in lieu of a degree- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently- Proficiency in MS products (ex. Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)- SAP, MFG-Pro or other ERP systems (ex.
