Continuous Improvement Specialist

We're looking for a **Continuous Improvement Specialist** to help transform our business. This is a hybrid role with a primary focus on driving operational excellence through the optimization of processes and managing our continuous improvement program. You'll also dedicate a portion of your time to preparing for key digital transformation projects, ensuring a seamless transition and maximum business value. This is a unique opportunity to be the engine of change within our Global Business Center in Monterrey, Mexico.**What You Will Be Doing**:- Drive Process Optimization: Drive operational excellence by identifying and analyzing inefficiencies and bottlenecks in GBS processes to achieve significant cost reductions.- Manage the Continuous Improvement Program: Operate and evolve our SHIFT CI program using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma, managing logistics, tracking ROI, and ensuring project visibility.- Enable Digital Transformation: Prepare and document operational processes for digitalization and automation. Our team of experts is always available to provide support and guidance to you and your family.- We offer learning platforms, such as LinkedIn Learning and Steelcase University, to promote continuous professional and personal growth.Discounts and perks on car insurance, doctor's appointments, clinical checkups, early stimulation packages for children, and more to help employees achieve a better work-life balance.**Who You Are**:**Minimum Qualifications**- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.- 3-5 years of experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, or operational excellence roles, preferably within Global Business Services.- Advanced English is a must- 2+ years managing projects, ideally related to cost reduction or operational preparation for digital transformation.- Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Signavio, Lucidchart) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)**Desired Skills and Experience**- 2+ years documenting operational needs or process requirements is a plus- Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings and efficiency gains through CI initiatives.- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Critical Thinking Model or similar are highly desirable.- Strong conceptual understanding of digital transformation concepts and technologies such as RPA, AI/ML, cloud solutions, and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), with experience in defining requirements for these.- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) for process analysis, requirement definition, and potential future operational use.- Experience contributing to or managing projects, with a basic understanding of project management principles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project portfolio management.- Knowledge of project intake criteria, stakeholder mapping, and governance frameworks.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, conduct root cause analysis, and utilize process mining for insights.- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership**Who We Are**:Steelcase is a global design and thought leader in the world of work.
