You will help build and maintain scalable pipelines to ingest content into a centralized storage system, develop a scalable content enrichment and retrieval system, and create pipelines to load content search indexes. These systems are in early-stage implementation, and this team has the remit to ingest massive amounts of content to support AI-powered products across the organization.**Responsibilities:*** Design, prototype, and build robust and scalable pipelines, following clean code and best-practice software engineering principles.* Work with technologies including **Python (FastAPI), Java (Spring Boot), Spark, Airflow, Snowflake, Iceberg, Kafka, and RDBMS**.* Build cloud infrastructure in **AWS** to host and monitor services, automating common tasks mercilessly.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality solutions.* Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards for software quality.* **Additionally, experience with large-scale content management systems and big data is highly valued.****Requirements:*** +2 years of experience in software engineering.* Strong commercial experience delivering server-side applications.* Excellent programming skills in **Java and Python**.* Advocate of best practices for rapid development of quality software, including clean code, architectural design patterns, and CI/CD.* Comfortable learning new technologies, languages, and tools on the job to keep pace with a rapidly evolving ecosystem.* Inclusive, positive, and collaborative mindset with a desire to deliver real business value.* Ability to handle ambiguity, refine and execute higher-level tasks, and perform detailed code reviews.**Work in a way that works for you:**We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
