Job Title Automotive Hardware Engineer Employer Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group Location Mexico City Metropolitan Area Description We are looking for an Automotive Hardware Engineer to support the design, development, validation, and launch of automotive electronic control units (ECUs) and vehicle electronic systems. The role involves close collaboration with systems, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams across the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design and develop automotive electronic hardware including ECUs, sensor interfaces, power electronics, and control modules Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and hardware design documentation Perform component selection and derating for automotive-grade environments (AEC-Q100/Q200) Support hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power analyzers Conduct DV/PV testing, environmental, thermal, vibration, EMC/EMI, and electrical stress testing Collaborate with systems and software teams to ensure HW/SW integration and requirements compliance Support Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity (ISO 21434) hardware requirements Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams on DFM/DFA, PPAP, and production readiness Analyze hardware issues, perform root cause analysis, and support field issue resolution Maintain design change control and support launch activities per automotive quality standards Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Industry Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group by 2x Get notified about new Hardware Engineer jobs in Mexico City Metropolitan Area . #J-18808-Ljbffr
